Genitive pronouns
In these exercises, you will use personal, relative and possessive pronouns in the genitive case.
While the possessive pronouns themselves serve as the genitive form of personal pronouns, possessive pronouns also require genitive endings when they precede nouns in the genitive case.
The genitive for possessive pronouns follows the ein genitive declension pattern, including adding an -s/es ending to masculine and neuter nouns.
Relative pronouns in the genitive case are unique: dessen is used for masculine and neuter referent nouns, and deren is used for feminine and plural referent nouns.
