Definite articles
Definite articles are those that identify a specific noun (ex., "the table"), while indefinite articles identify a general noun (ex., "a table"). In German, definite articles consist of "der," "die," and "das" in the nominative case, and indefinite articles consist of "ein" and "eine" in the nominative.
In the exercises below, fill in the blank with the appropriate article. You will need to identify the gender of the noun and the case in which it's used.
